The BBC visited a block of flats in Romania’s eastern city of GalaÈ›i, near the border with Ukraine, after it was hit by what the country described as a Russian drone on Friday.
A resident of the building said he was afraid after the incident, which injured two people.
“If I go back to my flat tonight, I will sleep with fear,” he told BBC’s Eastern Europe correspondent Sarah Rainsford.
Romanian President NicuÈ™or Dan said the drone was likely hit by Ukrainian air defences over Kyiv’s territory, altering its trajectory, though Moscow questioned whether it was Russian.
