Although the registrations closed on March 24, WIAA has extended the deadline to March 26, 1 pm. The enrolment fee is Rs 15,000 per car, and there is a cap of three participants per vehicle, although only two of them will be allowed to drive with a valid FMSCI driver’s competition licence, which will be provided upon registration. Notably, the contestants have to bring their own cars and will also be required to pay toll and fuel charges.

The 2026 rally will be flagged off from NSCI, Worli, at 8 am.

As mentioned earlier, the Women’s Rally to the Valley will be organised on Saturday, March 28, 2026. The rally will start from the National Sports Club of India (NSCI) in Worli, Mumbai, at 8 am. However, participants are required to be present at the location by 5:30 am so that the documentation and condition of the cars can be checked before the flag-off.

The contestants will have to navigate out of the city onto hilly roads without GPS assistance for approximately 125km with the help of rally-style roadbooks, to reach the Novotel Imagicaa hotel in Karjat. Like every year, the 2026 edition will be headed by the past year’s winners.

Pooja, who is participating in the rally with her mother again after 2025, said, “Every car in the rally has a story. For all the hours in the car, the steering is in your hand, similar to how you steer your life in the real world. So I would thank WIAA for organising this and would request them to arrange more such rallies every year.”
