This 2.0-liter flat-six engine was removed from a 914/6 under previous ownership and was acquired by the seller from a larger collection in August 2025. The engine does not turn over and will require a repair or rebuild before further use. It is now offered at no reserve in Brookfield, Connecticut.
Porsche installed the Type 901/38 2.0-liter flat-six engine in 1970–1972 914/6 models with US emissions, where it was factory-rated at 110 horsepower. An induction setup is not included, though an uninstalled Magneti Marelli distributor is part of the sale.
The seller removed the spark plugs to add Marvel Mystery Oil to the cylinders. The crankshaft does not turn over.
