BBC visits migrant camp in northern France as new deal announced

The UK is set to sign a new three-year deal with Paris aimed at stopping migrants crossing the Channel on small boats.

Worth more than £600 million, the deal will mean riot police are deployed on French beaches.

The Home Office says part of the funding will stop after a year if Paris fails to cut crossings.

The BBC’s James Waterhouse has visited a migrant camp on the north coast of France to talk to those still considering making the crossing.
