Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates, Friday, Oct 26, 2026: The benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty 50 staged a recovery from the morning lows, but failed to hold the gains. As of 12:10 AM, the BSE Sensex traded flat at 73,112.98, down 10.85 points, or 0.01 per cent. Likewise, the Nifty 50 index quoted largely unchanged at 22,604. Sectorally, the Nifty Pharma and Healthcare were the top gainers, up more than 1 per cent each, followed by the Nifty Metal. The Nifty PSU Bank and FMCG fell the most. The broader market indices recovered from the morning lows to trade higher. The Nifty Midcap 100 was up 0.38 per cent, while the Nifty Smallcap 100 gained 0.54 per cent. From the Nifty pack, Dr Reddy’s, BSE, Kotak Mahindra Bank, JSW Steel, and Adani Ports, were the top gainers. On the other hand, Shriram Finance, Tata Consumer, HDFC Life, Asian Paints, and Bajaj Finance were the top losers.
